This Privacy Policy explains what information Pups & Studs collects, why it is used, and the choices you have. It is written for the website and future mobile app foundation.
Information you provide
We collect account enrollment information such as name, email address, phone number, country, password hash, digital signature acceptance, account type, consent choices, profile details, kennel details, listing content, dog pedigree records, messages, reports, comments, favorites, saved searches, contact submissions, newsletter signups, and identity verification status. Government ID collection for verification is handled by Stripe Identity.
Information collected automatically
We may collect IP address, user agent, device and browser details, approximate location from user-provided listings, cookie preferences, login events, page activity, impressions, clicks, and security logs.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, publish marketplace pages, run kennel teams, deliver messages, process listing and designer payments, prevent fraud, enforce rules, improve search, send requested notifications, support moderation, and comply with law.
Payments
Payment card details are handled by Stripe or another payment provider. Pups & Studs stores payment records, subscription status, invoice details, listing IDs, and transaction status, but not full card numbers.
Identity verification
When you choose to become verified, Stripe Identity may collect documents, selfies, biometric-related checks, and related verification information according to Stripe's terms and privacy practices. Pups & Studs stores the verification status, Stripe session reference, timing, and outcome needed to show verified badges and review account safety.
Messages and public content
Public profile, kennel, listing, wall, pedigree, dog show, news, and ad content may be visible to visitors and search engines. Private messages are visible to conversation participants and may be reviewed by admins when reported or needed for safety.
Marketing and SMS choices
Email marketing and SMS marketing are opt-in choices. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. Message frequency varies. Users can opt out of text messages by replying STOP and can ask for help by replying HELP when SMS is enabled.
Your choices
You can update account settings, profile information, notification preferences, social links, and public content from your dashboard. You can delete your account from dashboard settings. Deletion closes login access and removes public account activity from view, but some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, payment, compliance, disputes, reports, or moderation.
